Capt Travis has been fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for over 35 years. He started fishing aboard his dad's charter boat when he was 15 years old and has been at it every year since.

Over the years Capt Travis  worked as a 1st mate on several very good charter boats in the fleet and obtained his captains license at the age of 19 and started running charter and working on commercial fishing boats in the winter season.

"We have fished the entire northern gulf from Tampa to the Galveston". Having the background of commercial fishing and diving really taught me how to fish hard and competitively. The years on charter boats taught me how important is was to take care of my customers and work hard to show them a good time."

Capt Travis has lived in Destin since 1980 and seen the charter boat fleet make many changes.

Capt Travis started fishing in Destin on older wooden charter boats and made the transition to the modern, fast custom sport fishermen that are custom built with big live wells, lots of fishing space and all the comforts of home.
